I have been a fan of vintage paper since I was a kid. I love the feel, the smell, and the artwork that was used to create vintage advertisements and illustrations in the 19th and early 20th century. Vintage ads make a great gift, its a wonderful collectible and it can be the perfect solution for the person who has everything.

Vintage paper can be a unique and cost effective gift, one that you will not find in a big box store, you can pick up a new frame or recycle a vintage one from your local antique mall or flea market.

When you are looking for that unique gift for that special person ask yourself; what do they do for a living? What is their passion, their hobbies their interests? Without much effort you can find a unique peice of vintage paper that will look great framed.

Maybe its an advertisement that depicts their first car, a favorite candy from their youth, a toy they had (or always wanted) or what about a 19th century engraving of the tools they use in their profession?  There are many different possibilities and if they have a little wall space to fill up you might be able to fulfill your shopping needs for years to come.

What about for you? There is nothing that says you cannot be an elf to yourself and purchase something that you would like as well. As we go along throught the spring I'll be adding the option to purchase a photograph that is printed on canvas and even better you will be able to submit a digitalized image to have your own photographs printed on canvas as well.
